• Robert Ryan, CPA

    Shareholder

    Robert Ryan has been in the accounting field for more than 30 years, beginning his career in Bremerton WA with Moss Adams & Co. Bob graduated from the University of Puget Sound. He has owned his own firm for over twenty years, eighteen of which has been as a partner in Ryan Jorgenson & Limoli, P.S.  Bob is very involved with non-profit organizations, assisting in the establishment and consulting on the operations.  Bob serves as a policy advisor for many boards such as the Tacoma Community College Board of Trustees and the Franciscan Health Systems Foundation Board and their Audit & Compliance Committee.

    Bob lives with his wife in North Tacoma and enjoys catch and release fly fishing and spending time with his friends and family; especially since the arrival of his grandchildren.

  • Marc A Jorgenson, CPA

    Marc A. Jorgenson

    Marc Jorgenson has been with the firm since 1988. Marc provides tax and accounting services to business and individual clients with specific expertise in tax, tax planning, business formation, perpetuation and entity selection. Specialty areas of his practice include Independent Insurance Agencies, medical practices and high net worth individuals.  He has over twenty five years of accounting experience.

    Marc is a member of the Gig Harbor Rotary and serves on the board of directors of the Peninsula Light Company.  He is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University.  Marc is an avid sailor and is involved in racing, some of which include races to Hawaii.  He and his wife live in Gig Harbor.

  • Scott M. Limoli, CPA/ABV

    Shareholder

    Scott Limoli joined the firm in 1999 and became a shareholder in 2003. He graduated from the University of Florida. He provides tax and accounting services to closely-held businesses with an emphasis on the health care and professional service industries. He also consults with individuals in matters of personal tax, financial and estate planning. He frequently lectures to business owners on topics such as succession planning, start-up, valuation, and tax entity structure.

    Scott currently serves on the board of the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. He lives in Gig Harbor with his wife and daughter. Their time is spent hiking, golfing, boating, snowboarding, and exploring the Pacific Northwest whenever possible.

  • Julie Curtis, CPA

    Julie Curtis

    Julie Curtis joined the firm in January 1997 becoming a shareholder in January 2013. Julie graduated from the University of Washington. She provides tax, consulting, and other accounting services to a wide variety of clients. Her professional experience includes tax planning for individuals and businesses, payroll taxes, state excise taxes, financial reporting and accounting software consultation.

    Julie is on the board of the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County, and is a member of the Tacoma Estate Planning Council. In her spare time, Julie enjoys going for walks, bicycling, movies, visiting with friends, and most importantly, spending time with family.

  • Jean Smith, CPA

    Senior Manager

    Jean Smith

    Jean Smith joined the firm in January of 2003 and became a manager in 2008. She has experience with tax preparation for both individual and business tax returns, reviews, compilations and tax planning. Non-profits and small business are areas of special interest. Jean graduated from the University of North Florida and was a CPA in the state of North Carolina for 15 years prior to moving to Washington.

    Jean is a member of the Gig Harbor Midday Rotary and is involved in community events. Jean lives in Gig Harbor with her husband. They enjoy walking around the Harbor, boating, spending time with family and travel.

  • Mallory Tucci, CPA

    Mallory Tucci

    Mallory Tucci has been in public accounting since 2007. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with minors in Business Administration and Geology from Western Washington University. Her areas of expertise include services related to financial reporting, tax preparation and planning, along with consulting and agreed upon procedure engagements. She has worked with clients in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, real estate, and professional service with an emphasis in closely held and multi-generational businesses.

    Mallory is a member of the Junior League of Tacoma. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Cami Chouery, CPA

    MANAGER

    Cami Chouery

    Cami Chouery joined RJL in 2008 after graduating from the University of Washington – Tacoma. She has experience working with individual and business clients in the area of taxation, and reviews & compilations of financial statements.  Cami enjoys hiking and camping with her family and volunteering as a Board Member with Tacoma Community House.

  • Deborah Horst, CPA

    Senior Staff Accountant

    Deborah Horst graduated from the University of Washington – Tacoma in 2010 and began working at RJL in 2011. In 2012 she received her CPA license. Deborah primarily works with small businesses doing tax planning, tax return preparation, and financial statement compilations.  She also assists with business valuations.

    Deborah lives in Tacoma and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

  • Shannon Zander, CPA

    Senior Staff Accountant

    Shannon Zander joined the firm in 2009 after graduating from the University of Washington – Tacoma.  Shannon has experience working with individual and business clients in the areas of federal and state taxation, audits, reviews and complications of financial statements and accounting software set-up and maintenance.

    Shannon lives in Gig Harbor with her husband and daughter.  In her spare time she enjoys gardening, snowboarding and hiking with the family dog Walter.

  • Pavel Rogov, CPA

    SENIOR STAFF ACOUNTANT

    Pavel joined our firm in July 2014 after completing an internship with our firm during the tax year.  He graduated from the University of Washington – Tacoma.  Pavel prepares individual and business tax returns.  In 2016 he received his CPA license and in January of 2017 was promoted to Senior Staff Accountant. He is a vital member of the RJL team.

    Pavel lives in Gig Harbor and enjoys downhill mountain biking, swimming and hiking during his personal time away from the office.

     

     

  • Jaye Lindeman, CPA

    STAFF ACCOUNTANT

    Jaye Lindeman

    Jaye Lindeman received her degree from Pacific Lutheran University. After many years as a Financial Analyst in the aerospace and financial investment industries, Jaye eventually found her way to a second career as an accountant. Jaye worked with RJL for several years as a seasonal employee until joining the firm full time in 2013.

    Jaye is an enthusiastic sailor and enjoys spending time with her husband on a Pearson 37 sailboat.

  • Kristen Brinks

    Staff Accountant

    Kristen has been preparing tax returns for over 15 years joining the firm in 2009.  She is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and Boston College Law School. She prepares individual, trust, and estate returns.

    Kristen moved to Washington after living in the New England area for over 20 years.  She lives in Gig Harbor with her husband and dog and enjoys gardening, hiking and camping.

  • Loren Beckner, CPA

    Staff Accountant

    Loren joined our firm in 2016 as an intern.  After graduating from the University of Washington – Tacoma he began working full time in December of 2016.  Loren is a great addition to the RJL team working on individual and business returns.

    Loren is a native of Gig Harbor.  He enjoys backpacking trips, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends.

     

  • Sarah Bevan

    Staff Accountant

    Sarah Bevan is one of our newest Staff Accountants joining our firm in December 2016 after working for another firm in Tacoma.  She received her degree from Colorado State University. She is experienced in working with clients on non-profit audits and individual tax returns.

    Sarah now lives in Gig Harbor and enjoys exploring all  the area has to offer with her husband and 3 year-old Norwegian Elkhound.

     

  • Anthony Pennington

    Staff Accountant

    Anthony Pennington received his degree from University of Puget Sound.  After two years with a Regional CPA firm and 5 years in the private sector Anthony put his career on hold to stay home with his two Daughters.  He started working For RJL seasonally in 2007 and joined the firm full time in 2017.

    Anthony lives in Gig Harbor and enjoys Scuba Diving and spending time with his Wife and Daughters.

  • Brandon Barker

    Staff Accountant

    Brandon is one of our most recent additions to the team. He graduated from Western Washington University in 2016 with his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and minor in Business Administration. He is currently working towards his CPA. He has experience in auditing, reviews, and compilations as well as individual and business tax.

    Brandon lives in Gig Harbor and enjoys playing golf, hiking, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.

  • Shelbie Hicks

    Office Manager

    Shelbie Hicks is our Office Manager. Shelbie joined the firm in 2007. After a brief leave of absence to start her family in 2009, she worked seasonally until she returned to the firm full time in 2011. She looks forward to continuing the level of efficiency, productivity and professionalism of our already outstanding Admin Team.

    Shelbie is a mother of two who enjoys her work both at home and at RJL. Between karate, homework and chores with her kids, she enjoys volunteering and fundraising.

  • Melissa Feagan

    Administrative Assistant

    Melissa Feagan

    Melissa Feagan is one of our Administrative Assistants. Melissa joined the firm in 2010. She is our front desk Admin Assistant and is the primary client greeter as well as the most recognizable voice in our organization.  She assists her department and is affectionately known as “Mel” around the office and provides first rate service to all our clients.

    She is a devoted wife and mother and volunteers all around her community.

  • Megan Jamison

    Administrative Assistant

    Megan Jamison is our newest administrative assistant. She first joined RJL as a seasonal employee in 2016, but was hired full time in the Fall of 2017. She loves her work environment and learning everything she can between greeting clients, answering phones, and helping her RJL family in any way possible.

    Outside of work, Megan loves spending time with her family and fiancé as well as any activity involving dogs and using her creativity. She also enjoys traveling, concerts, and baking.
