Both individuals and businesses should take note of the September 15 due date next week.
For individuals, September 15 is the deadline for making your third quarter estimated tax payments. If you have experienced a significant change in your income and don’t want a surprise when you go to file your taxes next year, give us a call and we can help you estimate what you should be paying in now.
For businesses with a calendar year-end, September 15 is the extended filing deadline for your tax return. Hopefully you’ve already filed your return, but with the extended filing deadline comes the deadline for funding your 2015 retirement plan contributions. If you haven’t funded your plan yet, you should make arrangements to do so as soon as possible.
